Happy with my purchase

I have a slow recovery well, and very hard water, 80 grains plus. Reid helped me set it up and is very knowledgeable. My water is now at 3 grains hardness and my salt consumption is low to do it. We had a small leak from the bypass valve, and he sent me a replacement part promptly free of charge no hassle. We are happy knowing that the customer service is available to us if we have any further questions.

Great Unit for Large Families

We had been looking for a water softner for awhile. We did our research on the internet. Topics included: What is a water softner is to how it works. We even downloaded Aquatell's booklet on softeners (which we found very informative). Originally, we were going to purchase an all in one unit from a local store. But our research paid off. Actually, coming back from Hawaii in August, washing my hands for the first time at home was the final straw. My hands felt aweful, after using soft water in Hawaii lol. I got on the computer and ordered this unit. We have a large family and we did not want to run out of soft water. Our five kids use a lot of water! When one tank is near capacity, it switches over to the second tank. We never have hard water. The unit came in September and I got it hooked up ASAP. The hook up was easy, I used PEX pipe and Shark fittings. What can I say, it makes water soft! Its been installed for three months now and I dont really pay attention to it. It does what it is intended to do. The water tastes fine also. We had two small issues with the unit: 1) Was with the plastic 90 degree elbow for the discharge. You can only turn it so far until it hits the Fleck control unit. When we ran it for the first time there was a slight drip from that elbow. I ended up calling aquatell and they promptly sent me a replacement straight fitting. 2) Slight drip from the second tank where the top of the unit met the tank. Not a big deal just turned the tank so it would tighten up and the problem was solved. The only other thing that aquatell should do is just include unit specific instructions. It could overload someone who is not mechanically inclined. I would advise anyone to purchase this unit. In fact, I bragged to the guys at work about this system!
