    Description

The UV Pure Hallett Potable 1000P is a commercial-grade ultraviolet disinfection system engineered for potable water applications where reliability, regulatory alignment, and operational assurance are critical. Built around UV Pure’s patented cross-fire™ dual-lamp configuration and automatic quartz cleaning technology, the 1000P maintains consistent dose delivery while minimizing manual servicing routines and system downtime.

Unlike conventional UV systems that require softened water and frequent cleaning to preserve optical clarity, the Hallett Potable series can operate on a broad range of municipal and well water conditions — including high-hardness sources — without routine pre-treatment. This makes the 1000P well-suited for facilities where infrastructure constraints, remote operation, or maintenance budgets are key considerations.

Designed for commercial, institutional, and light-industrial environments, the 1000P offers communication and control options to integrate with plant automation, building management systems, and compliance monitoring workflows. The result is a disinfection platform that delivers dependable performance with lower lifetime servicing burden compared to traditional UV approaches.

    About The Brand

UV Pure® Technologies is a Canadian-founded leader in advanced ultraviolet water disinfection, with thousands of systems installed globally since the late 1990s that serve residential, commercial, industrial, public, and municipal applications. Their products leverage patented Crossfire Technology — dual UV lamps with 360° coverage and smart sensors — to deliver reliable, self-cleaning, high-performance UV disinfection even in challenging water conditions, and many systems are certified to stringent standards such as NSF/ANSI and EPA validations. Over the years the company has earned multiple industry awards for innovation and is trusted by engineers and water professionals worldwide for durable, quality solutions that make safe water a practical reality across potable, reuse, and wastewater treatment applications.

    Product Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures your UV system runs safely and effectively:

    • UV Lamp: Replace every 12 months (9,000 hrs)
    • Quartz Sleeve: Replace every 24 months or if damaged/un-cleanable
    • Quartz Sleeve Cleaning: At least once a year during lamp change
    • O-Rings/Seals: Inspect annually, replace as needed
    Lamp Care & Disposal

Some UV lamps contain a small amount of mercury, similar to household fluorescent bulbs. When replacing your lamp, please dispose of it responsibly by following your local municipal or provincial recycling guidelines. Many communities offer Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) drop-off programs or recycling depots that accept UV lamps.
