The Rusco Hot Water filter is the "hot water version" of the very popular Spin-Down product line. It is an ideal choice for the removal of high volumes of course sediment in hot water environments such as boiler loops and other industrial/commercial processes. It can also be used residentially downstream of water heaters that may be ejecting debris.
This Hot Water Spin-Down features a high-impact chemical-resistant polymer filter body for quick and easy filter inspection and a stainless steel filter screen available in different mesh sizes. This filter system has 1.25" inlet/outlet ports. A 3/8" ball valve on the bottom of the housing is used to periodically "blow down" collected debris.
