This filter wrench is used to loosen the sump of a Pentek Big Blue water filter housing when changing the cartridge. Big Blue filter housings are used with cartridges that measure approx. 10" x 4.5". This filter wrench will only work with the Big Blue style of filter housing and may not work with other filter housing types.
