Iron filter

We swear by these. Wish they were cheaper. I'd replace them every six months if I could afford it. The iron in our well results in gummy stuff clogging our drains.

Product functions well

The filter works extremely well, we had about 3ppm iron in our water and an irony taste before the filter was installed. Immediately after installation the taste goes away. We are using as a short term solution until a full iron reducing system can be installed that requires less maintenance, but if you're like us and cannot afford the 1000-2000 dollars for a more expensive system this is definitely a cheaper short term solution. I only say short term, because if you do the math the filter costs will obviously add up over time. The schedule for changing is pretty spot on as well, but obviously is only an estimate and will have to adjust to your own home's usage.

Great tasting results

Totally changed our well water quality from good to great! No longer any iron build up in toilet tanks, bowls or lines. Got rid of that faint sulpher odour also. Very happy with it so far and if we get the expected life out of them we figured that over 10 years they will cost as much as a stand alone iron filter that lasts 10 years for the same amount. Definately an added bonus meaning we won't require having another large bulky unit.
