The Aries AF-20-1042-BB Chloramine Reduction filter cartridge utilizes enhanced Calgon Centaur™ Catalytic Carbon to specifically target and remove chloramines from residential and industrial water supply. Chloramines, which are normally added to water to prevent bacterial growth, have recently been found to cause unhealthy and dangerous byproducts by water professionals. It is now evident that these chemicals should be removed from water before consumption and use. The catalytic carbon media inside the filter cartridge is a specifically altered Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) that increases its ability to remove contaminants. Use an Aries AF-20-1042-BB Chloramine Reduction filter cartridge to remove dangerous chloramine and other harmful contaminants.
