    • Self-cleaning quartz sleeves maintain UV performance in high-hardness water, allowing Hallett potable systems to be installed without softener pre-treatment

    Description

The UV Pure Hallett Potable 750P is a high-capacity ultraviolet disinfection system engineered for commercial and institutional potable water applications. It leverages UV Pure’s industry-recognized Crossfire® Technology, which uses a dual-lamp, dual-sensor architecture to deliver consistent UV dose and real-time performance validation. This approach supports reliable microbial inactivation even under fluctuating flow and water quality conditions—making it suitable for environments where reliability and compliance are critical.

Unlike traditional “single-pass” UV systems, the 750P continuously monitors performance parameters and automatically responds to changing influent conditions, triggering alarms if disinfection performance deviates from expectations. Its self-cleaning quartz sleeve system mitigates mineral fouling on hard water supplies, reducing manual maintenance and minimizing downtime without chemical cleaning. A compact vertical housing and integrated control package create a clean installation footprint that simplifies system integration.

The 750P is commonly deployed in commercial buildings, remote and decentralized facilities, campuses, health care and institutional settings, food service, and potable distribution points where continuous disinfection and regulatory confidence are essential.

    About The Brand

UV Pure® Technologies is a Canadian-founded leader in advanced ultraviolet water disinfection, with thousands of systems installed globally since the late 1990s that serve residential, commercial, industrial, public, and municipal applications. Their products leverage patented Crossfire Technology — dual UV lamps with 360° coverage and smart sensors — to deliver reliable, self-cleaning, high-performance UV disinfection even in challenging water conditions, and many systems are certified to stringent standards such as NSF/ANSI and EPA validations. Over the years the company has earned multiple industry awards for innovation and is trusted by engineers and water professionals worldwide for durable, quality solutions that make safe water a practical reality across potable, reuse, and wastewater treatment applications.

    Product Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures your UV system runs safely and effectively:

    • UV Lamp: Replace every 12 months (9,000 hrs)
    • Quartz Sleeve: Replace every 24 months or if damaged/un-cleanable
    • Quartz Sleeve Cleaning: At least once a year during lamp change
    • O-Rings/Seals: Inspect annually, replace as needed
    Lamp Care & Disposal

Some UV lamps contain a small amount of mercury, similar to household fluorescent bulbs. When replacing your lamp, please dispose of it responsibly by following your local municipal or provincial recycling guidelines. Many communities offer Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) drop-off programs or recycling depots that accept UV lamps.
