Master Reset of the Fleck 5600SXT Control Valve

Sometimes a situation may arise where a master reset of the control board on the Fleck 5600SXT control valve will be necessary. Performing a master reset will restore the original factory settings.
Control Valve Buttons
The Fleck 5600SXT controller has three buttons on the front that you need to be familiar with:
Performing the Master Reset
- unplug the softener power cable from the wall outlet
- press and hold the 'next cycle' button on the controller and hold this button down while the power cable is plugged back in
- continue to hold the 'next cycle' button for three seconds and then release it
The master reset is now complete. You'll need to program the softener now to your local conditions and you'll need to reset the clock.
