Description
The Rusco 1" Sediment Trapper is an ideal filtration choice for the removal of high volumes of course sediment and features a high-impact clear polymer filter body for quick and easy filter inspection. The polyester filter screen (included) features a debris reservoir that permits this system to trap high volumes of sediment without excessive pressure loss. A 3/8" ball valve on the bottom of the housing is used to periodically "blow down" collected debris.
The Rusco Sediment Trapper is an ideal filter system to use on surface water supplies for the removal of suspended debris or in any other application where high volumes of sediment may be present. They are also excellent for the removal of sand where it may be present. These filters can also be an excellent way to protect other downstream water filtration equipment and to prolong the lifespan of other sediment-reduction equipment such as finer cartridge filtration.
