    Safety & Compliance

    • Disconnect power before servicing the controller or opening the reactor
    • Grounded outlet only, GFCI recommended. Indoor installation only
    • Splash resistant, not waterproof. Water ingress voids the warranty
    • Do not substitute a 4.1 series controller. The RC-B56.01 fits Blackcomb 5.1 systems only
    • Use only Luminor lamps and sleeves. Third-party lamps will not deliver rated dose and void the warranty
    • Install per local electrical code. Many jurisdictions require a licensed electrician
    • Never operate the UV lamp outside the reactor. Direct UV-C exposure burns eyes and skin

    • UV Lamp: Replace every 12 months (9,000 hrs)
    • Quartz Sleeve: Replace every 24 months or if damaged/un-cleanable
    • Quartz Sleeve Cleaning: At least once a year during lamp change

    Lamp Care & Disposal

Some UV lamps contain a small amount of mercury, similar to household fluorescent bulbs. When replacing your lamp, please dispose of it responsibly by following your local municipal or provincial recycling guidelines. Many communities offer Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) drop-off programs or recycling depots that accept UV lamps.
