The quartz sleeve is essential for protecting the UV lamp and allowing maximum UV light transmission. To keep your UV system performing properly:
- Inspect annually when replacing the UV lamp.
- Clean the sleeve annually with a soft cloth and a manufacturer-approved cleaner to remove mineral buildup.
- Replace if the sleeve is cracked, chipped, or remains cloudy after cleaning.
- If the sleeve remains undamaged during its lifespan, it should be replaced after 2 years of use.
- Always handle with care—quartz is fragile.
Proper sleeve maintenance ensures maximum disinfection efficiency and extends the life of your UV system.
Shipping Policy
- Ships from Canada – Orders ship from our Ontario & Alberta warehouses.
- Free Shipping – On most orders over $249 (before tax).
- Flat Rates – $24.99 under $249, plus $12.99 handling fee if under $50.
- Exceptions –Nunavut, Yukon, NWT: $100 flat fee
- Newfoundland: $40 flat feeHeavy/oversized items may incur extra charges
- Delivery Time – Usually ships next business day, most orders arrive within 5 business days.
- Carriers – UPS, Purolator, Loomis, and local/LTL freight for large orders.
Return Policy
- Most items returnable within 30 days if unused, in original packaging, and in sellable condition.
- Non-returnable items – Replacement UV ballasts, power supplies, sensors, and similar electrical components.
- Restocking fee – Standard 25%, but we try to reduce this fee as much as possible.
- Aquatell Errors – No restocking fee, and shipping costs refunded.
- Customer responsibility – Return shipping costs (unless error caused by Aquatell).
- Free shipping adjustment – If return brings order below $249, standard shipping fee is deducted from refund.
